A therapist with a heart rooted in East Asia and a passion for helping people from all walks of life. I’m Chinese by heritage, born and raised in Korea, and fluent in English, Mandarin, Korean, and even Hokkien, which often surprises the older folks I work with! I spent part of my youth living in Taiwan before returning to Korea, where I completed my degree in Psychology from Yonsei University, one of Korea’s top institutions.
Before stepping fully into therapy, I spent a year doing social work in Korea, supporting the underprivileged and gaining firsthand insight into the emotional weight many carry silently. That experience, along with my own upbringing across multiple cultures, taught me the deep importance of feeling seen, heard, and supported—especially in the quiet struggles people face every day. It was during this time that I realized: this is what I’m meant to do.
As a therapist, I’ve worked with married couples navigating relationship stress, professionals battling burnout, and elderly clients dealing with loneliness or grief. I bring empathy, structure, and cultural sensitivity into every session, helping clients connect with their emotions and move forward with clarity.
In my free time, you’ll likely find me listening to K-pop, out cycling, or camping in nature with a book and a warm cup of tea. I also share my space with my cheeky cat who reminds me daily to pause and breathe.
If you’re looking for a therapist who’s warm, down-to-earth, and truly listens across languages and life stages — I’m here for you.
